Dear friends,
I am missing you all at this page. Where are you all? There have been som problems with entering the blog.I hope the problem will be solved, so we all can use it frequently.
Soon the school will finish for us in Sweden. I can't believe that a school year has passed again.Let's keep in touch!

More fantastic people from Brasil

Hi everybody ! Five more friends from Brasil are with us right now in Örnsköldsvik. I wish I could spend ALL my time together with them while they´re here :( . Anyway , we all try to make our best during the time and I really love to talk to everybody. It´s fantastic to discover how things works around the world and how lucky we are to have this project. And see how useful english is !
I would like this project to go on forever - and hopefully it is , cause I´m gonna keep in touch with you even in the future :D Yesterday they all had a taste of our " smelly fish " surströmming !!! ..and everybody are here today . Yeah , hope to have some more wonderful days...hours ..together.

Brasilians are here

Today we have welcome our new friends from Brasil. After a long journey they are here with us. Hope that they will enjoy our school and city and bring home some good memories like the other group did.

Daycarecenter, family and Floreanopolis

Today we will go to Floripa, as they say here. Yesterday evening it was a terrible weather. Thunder and lightning all over the sky. Hope that it will be better weather today. Yesterday the girls (and also I a little when it was something they needed help with)worked volontary. We visited some children in the suburb and they cutted hair. The girls gave them some toys and I think that they enjoyed the moment. We also met a family that lived in the "mountain" and I thougth that it gave me and the others a lot. Per-Olof or Michael as his name here is was an exellent guide. When we visited the family it became a bit sad because they would like to keep him in Bluemenau. He and his family got a new mission up in the country and are leaving the town in may. They praied together before we left the family and then it felt better for them. A moment catched in real life...

Greetings from Joinville

Hi!
I'm so happy to be here in Joinville with Sirlene and her family. There are new experiences all the time. The wether changes faster here than I am used to. Sun, rain, sun, rain och so on. Today we visited the market there lots of people buy fish, vegetables, hurbs och beans. Sirlene helped me to buy some herbs special for Brazil. They smell just fantastic and now I must learn how to use them. I am so happy I have the possibility living in a brazilian family. That is the best way of learning.

Brasilian- group 2 from Sweden

Today we had a really nice day at FURB. Walking around the university guided by Maicon, looking at campus 1 gave me and the group a lot of impessions. The library, the TV and radiostudio, the englishlesson with the children and Rita and so on... The generousity that came toward us when we arriwed was warm and in the Brasilian way. Talking for myself I got to meet my Brasilian son Edegar and it was like yesterday. When I huged him the warmth was spread in my heart.

Last Friday I was invited with my husband to celebrate 25 years working at the community. It was a rather big ceremony with a lot of people who were in the same situation from different departments. The evening was very nice with entertainment, good food and speeches.
The temperature is much better now here and I hope we don't get any more snow,because we have more than enough.

Preparation before the hair and fashion show

Hi everybody. Here are some pictures I took before the show started. Then I had my place between 2 drop curtains, give sign to Emelie when the time was ok for the models to entre the stages. The girls did an amazing job and it was a succéss. Anna did a perfect compere job and Carina was a super fashion model.

Toonight I´m going to be with our students at thier hair och fashion show. I will show some clothes from one of the best shops in this town. I will do it together with the english teatcher Bia. I hope we will have a nice evening and get a lof of money for the project.

The winther will never stop but I like snow so there´s just to enjoy the winther as long as it lasts.

Hello everybody ! Soon it´s Valentines day :D ! Don´t forget to be lovely with your near and dear one´s!! I´m showing some pictures from our students companies . Hair Spa

This evening I´m going to remain at school with some students of the group that are involved in the project. They are going to have Hair Spa for some customers to collect money for the project. We do this every second week. A nice experiece for the students and a nice time for the customers. Candels, yogamusic, some grapes, dim light, scampoo and a nice hairmask followed by a mild massage of the scalp. A nice moment ending the day of work or school...up here in the dark and cold Sweden.

Brazil-soon we will be there

Finally we can look forward to send the second group to Brazil and then welcome the group from Brazil. I´m so excited and I´m only worried about the flight. Anyway, you always come down...in one way or another. Hmm.
