Today is a special day in Brazil.Tomorrow there will be a new president and people have to vote today. I was lucky to be with Jorge in the morning to see how it all works.I was really impressed seeing how easily you can vote in Brasil.You do it on the computor and there are only two persons appearing on the screen,so if you recognize the face of the one you will vote for ,just press the button.I got to learn a lot of things about the election and it will be very exciting to see the result I took pictures,which I will download later.I hope more people will enter the blog during the weekend.

We had another day full of new impressions on our trip to Florianopolis. A cloudy sky in the morning changed into sunshine when we arrived there. We had a wonderful lunch before entering the beach with lots of shrimps and chips. The sand on the beach was like soft powder under our feet. I didn t try the water,but the girls did and appreciated the temperature to 22 degrees. We took a lot of pictures from the beautiful area in Floreanopolis, which we will show you later.

Greetings from a cold Sweden

Last friday the snow came to us in Örnskoldsvik. Vanja was very happy and built some snow figure together with some friends. We were very surprised that the snow was still there on Saturday morning. Vanja went to school at Saturday because they had an installation of the newbuild school. All the pupils sang welcome, welcome, welcome and the headmaster directed them. Now we are waiting for more and more snow because all in my family really like the winter.

I'm glad to hear that you have a nice time together down there. I talked to Edegar and he told me about the parade. I heard it was awesome and it was a success. The girls put Sweden on the map. Up here in the north, there is little snow on the ground, but sunny and blue sky. Remember when our Brazilian friends and the girls played Kubb outside of school. Now the ground is white ...The Brazilian flag is reminding me of the warmth that spread around us a few weeks ago. This amazing group of people.This project has just started and I think many of us will never forget it ...

Hi everybody,
Unfortunately the girls couldn t enter the blog last Thursday. They will have another try during this weekend with their hosts.We all enjoy the time together with our friends and we try to learn a lot from each other. I think three of the girls went in the parade for the Octoberfest yesterday with Edegar. The weather is beautiful here, which we appreciate also.

Dear friends,
Now I feel happy when I can use our blogg. Edegar helped me this morning and he also helped the girls. We were lucky to arrive to Blumenau safely and without delays but we were almost exhausted after the long trip. Renato and Michele met us at the airport with the Swedish flag and a big smile.

From Sweden to Brasil

Now we have sent our first group from Parkskolan to Blumenau. Lots of expectation and exiting things to anticipate. Many eyes were not closed early last evening, but they will have time to sleep on the plane. Carina and I wish our group a nice travel and we sent a lot of hugs with them to all our friends down there. Hope to hear from you soon.
